Aisha Hinds, an American actor best known for playing roles in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has demonstrated her versatility as an actress, delivering stunning performances on television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her performance in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to attract her attention. Her performance in the biographical film All the Way as the feminist activists Fannie Lou Hammer was a major draw for the attention of the public. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical television drama Underground.
